<That brings up a question I have been wondering. When a truck is totaled
doesn't the insurance company ONLY pay for the value of the truck in stock
condition??>
No, if you can prove you had those mods (i.e. receipts, photos), the
insurance company will cover them. However, if the truck is not a total,
your policy will go to underwriting because of the mods and your premium
will be adjusted accordingly. Basically, if you want to cheat the
insurance company a little, you get one freebee. That's how it works with
the bigger insurance companies anyway (State Farm, AAA, All State, Farmers,
etc.).
