The wrecker called today and he scored me a 8 1/4 with trak lock from a 2000
dak with only 20,000 miles on it. Priced right at $675 Canadian, that's
about $450 US. The only problem is that it's 2 1/2 inches wider. The
spring pads are in the right location. Has anyone done this swap to a gen
II dak? Hope it works because these diffs are few and far between!

Well in that case I agree with Will, If you want something heavy duty that
bolts right in, DTS is the place, I don't think the anti lock brakes will
work with the Dana though. And I seem to remember that the base Dana rear
cost about $1500.00(?) from them. Which is a good deal for what you get.
