Geoff,

To give you an idea of what's possible, I live in California with strict
emissions standards. A friend of mine built a 360 with close to 400 hp
which he put in place of the 3.9L V6. Well, he's got the thing running so
well that it smogged cleaner than the 3.9L and gets better gas mileage.
