Rich, which ones were melting? Are you running JBA or MP headers? I've
got problems with the rear most (lower right corner valve cover bolt hole)
loom on the driver's side. It gets WAY too hot, but it's due to the ram's
horn design of the JBA header (#7 cyl)

Aint no big deal to me, shoot an email and have a fresh set 4 days later :)
No questions asked, they were very appologetic that it failed, and don't
require the old ones back! I give them and K&N both a 10 in customer
service.

I believe Mike Clark is using them also. I use to have them for about a
year until they melted. They couldn't take the engine heat for some reason.
(Guess I just have a hot 318.) :'B Pulled them out and installed a set of
Morosso's. Noticed they were even starting to give way from the heat.
Guess they'll need replaced soon too!
