Ya know,

It's funny but as soon as I drove this thing I said to my self "I think
there is more Diemler than Chrysler in this drive train. The hi revving v8
and they way the trans shifts it just feels Euro..

Well, It's annoyance but I can live with it. Sounds like a neat design with
those alternate gears. Hopefully it's not something that brakes easily. I
wonder if this design has been used in other vehicles prior to this one.
Maybe in a Benz????

Part if me wishes I had gotten a 5.9. Go old tried ant true motor. But as
long as this one holds up I guess it's cool. It's not like they had a slew
of used 2001 QC's with v8's in em. This one was the only one.

I think I got a good deal on it 19450 with 16k on the clock "ex renta car"
and I think with all the options it has I would be looking at around 25-27k
for a brand spanking new one. Am I right on this????

maybe they should have stayed with the 218. I had two of those and I could
not kill those motors no matter how hard I tried. and believe me I tried.
hope this motor is the same.
