Borla's the most expensive but I like it. Don't need duals to prove
anything, the single side phantom is just fine.

Subject: DML: New hope for the badly running 1999 5.2l and Exhaust
Question...

Dealer hooked up "drive around analyzer" and has decided that No timing
advance, never decreasing manifold vacuum and a cat working at 0% efficiency
might cause some problems. GEE, YA THINK?!?!? (why they didn't see this the
last 10 times they had the truck, I don't know). Their suspicion is a
clogged cat. We'll see after they replace it if the truck returns to normal
acceleration and maybe NO PING...

On the exhaust issue... What are the pros and cons of add-on cat back
systems? It seems Flowmaster and Gibson are the only ones to offer split
duals but they come straight out the back which I'm not terribly fond of
since I trailer regularly. I'd prefer stainless, but that only comes from
Borla and only as a single outlet. I'd really like fake duals, corner exit
in stainless that won't always let the neighbors know when I arrive home.
Does anyone make a kit like this?

thanks,

Rick
