I was under the Streak today giving her a going over and trying to see
why she developed a case of the "rear end hops" while at my last 2 4x4
trips. I noticed that my shock bushings in the rear (rubber) were a bit
dry rotted, so I went to 4 Wheel Parts and got some Energy Suspension
polyurethane bushings. I pulled the shocks off, and one came apart in 2
pieces, one was just about in 2 pieces, and the other 2 were just
starting to split (2 bushings on each shock). I know these new bushings
will last a loooong time. Only $4 per shock, and well worth it imo. I
have the Pro Comp ES 9000 shocks btw.
