Yep, that's a water drain to let water left behind by condensation out
of the muffler. I remember when I was looking for an excuse to put a
Gibson on my truck, I found that hole and was so dissapointed when I
discovered it is supposed to be there. :-) Finally I just resigned
myself to removing a perfectly good exhaust system. :-)
