hheh Mine preached to never use anything but hehehehe. Think its just
personal preference. I've asked several different mechanics in town and
they say they can't see why to use any synthetics oil. Nothing different
but the price is what one told me.

My 5.2 is the same way, but my dad has preached on never to use Quaker
Sludge... I would never use that mess in my motor, just my opinion...
Havoline is supposed to be the best non Synthetic... and when I use
synthetic, I use Mobil 1...

But, yes, the oil gets somewhat thinner as its warm, and therefore you get
the loss of pressure...
