I've got a $.39 notebook in the glovebox of all my cars. It has
mostly oil change info in it, but I try to remember to write down
major repairs too (shocks, tires, battery, belts, etc.).
Most of this stuff, I just need to remember to take a look at
once in a while.
One thing that I should keep better track of is warranty
receipts. Putting a 9x6 envelope in the glove box to hold
them would probably be a good idea.
