Just wanted to drop a line to say we made it from Vegas to Ohio
in one piece. I towed my wife's Neon (packed FULL of stuff)
with a car dolly and had my dirt bike in the bed. We took I-70
across . . . whew, those Rocky Mountains were rough on the dak.
With the 3.55 rearend and all that weight (the Neon's about
2400lbs and the trailer and our stuff in the bed added about
another ton), I had to downshift to second gear! I averaged
about 10.5 mpg over the 2000 miles, so I guess that's not too
bad. Thankfully gas prices were down at that time. Anyway, I'm
now a resident of Fairborn, OH so you Ohio residents be sure and
keep me up to date as to when there's meet and/or event.
