Hey gang. Sorry that this is last minute. I had a meeting with
Irwindale Speedway management about some other items and I asked when we
could have a Dodge Truck/SUV day at Irwindale Speedway. They said, how
about this Saturday!! Guess what, here is the best part. NO CHARGE!!!
Normally this runs $25 per vehicle. They will not only let us in to
show off our vehicles at no charge, but you also get two FREE tickets
(worth $50) to the Saturday Night races and we get to do a pace lap or
two! Not too bad, huh?
Here is the deal. Show up at Irwindale Speedway (see
www.irwindalespeedway.com for directions) on Saturday afternoon around 4
PM or so. When you enter, tell the parking person you are part of the
Dodge Truck Chalet Show. They will direct you to the Chalet area
between the pits and the grandstands. We will have someone there to
park you in the area. Next, go to will call to get your two free
tickets to the races. Tell them that you are with the Dodge Truck
Chalet Show. Then kick back, grab some grub, beer, whatever and have
fun! Make sure that you are at your vehicles around 6 PM to get set up
for our parade lap! I will also try to get some prizes from our local
Dodge dealers for best truck Ram, Dakota, Durango, older... Bring your
Dodge Cars too! I expect to see the Ekstrand racing Intrepid on site
along with any other older Mopars.
Let's show them we have some incredible support and have some awesome
fun too! The races in the evening are the Southwest Tour, Super Trucks,
Modified 4s and Super late models. It is a blast!!
