I pulled a shock out and there's nothing holding it down. I tried pulling
on it and it started expanding. Also turned it some and it came out a
little. No metal band or anything.

These are just the rears - the fronts don't arrive for a few more days.

Should I attach the upper bolt, then pull the shock down to bolt in the
bottom?
