OK, I am tired of the stupid liquid-clutch fan on my truck. The thing
makes way too much noise and never seems to un-lock. I live in Vegas
and the a/c is on 24/7, and I am tired of the fan sucking 10-15HP
while I am doing 60mph.
I was wondering if a water pump from an old 318 would bolt up, and
still use the serpentine, but then use a standard flex-fan. Anyone
tried this?
The electrical fan is a no-go too. Once the air gets over 90, you
can't idle with the a/c on without overheating.
Thanks,
