correct...the power wire is going straight to the battery...this is not my
first amp...but this is certainly the most powerfull one.....I have some
more things to check out...the smell is hopefully coincidental with the amp
install and was caused by a stray piece of wire loom laying on the y
pipe...I hope...I'll check her out again when it gets light
outside....thanks for the reply
