Ok...I installed this sony explode 800w amp...its got a 40a fuse so I guess
thats about what it draws. Whenever I run it now, after I park the truck
there is a strange smell coming from the passenger side under the hood...its
not any of the stero wiering so I guess it must have something to do with
the alternator and charging system..is this amp over taxing my electrical
system and possible melting a wire somewhere?...I guess the stock alternator
is rated at like 90a ...right?
