thermostats???

o.k plan on changing my thermo, going to a lower rated one correct, like 180
degree's?

what effect will this have on my truck during the winter month's eh???

p.s. while I'm at it I'm going to replace the rad fluid, and flush any tips
for the first time mechanic?
