4.7 70mm TB and IAT Adjustor Installed!

First, I left my JET CHIP II installed.

Installed the FM 70mm TB, IAT adjustor, and Royal Purple Synthetic 5w-30
oil. Used a Service Dept's scanner to clear all the codes, settings, and
tables...couldn't do a group or generic clearing of some codes that the
scanner picked up on being set by the CHIP, had to clear each and every
setting individually.

Ran the truck with:

1) CHIP in/IAT off---seemed slightly sluggish compared to runs prior to
installs, not really sure if I felt any difference with the 70mm TB -vs-
stock 68mm TB

2) CHIP in/IAT on at a 1:30 setting...great response in all ranges!

Total miles with both runs was only about 10 miles

Will have to get more experience and miles for the PCM to 're-learn' and
adjust (do you folks agree on this, especially the part about the PCM
re-learning?

Ok, now the funky stuff...had to use the original coupler from the stock
z-tube to fit in the 4 inch end of the new coupler that came with the TB
in order to get (IMHO) a snug, airtight mating of the z-tube to the TB

I can't get the z-tube to stop rubbing on the A/C lines (it wasn't with
the 68mm TB and using just one coupler)

The truck twice came to idle at 1k and I couldn't get it to spool down

Squealing and/or squeaking nosies are heard at times...

Some of the above is probably operator error, just wanted to post this
info anyhow...will spend some more time on Q and A of the install, re-test
with longer milage runs, and report results....but I like what I felt
(thought I would be more impressed with the underhood sounds though) from
test number 2.
