Piston Coating in my Oil???

Hello,
I am a Durango 4.7L owner, but come here often to lurk for good advice. My
truck has 21500 miles on it and today when I changed the oil (Mobile 1 every
3.5K miles with PureOne filter) there was stuff that looked like flakes of
paint in the oil I drained out. I took samples to two different dealers and
each of them said it was some of the coating material off of the pistons and
was nothing to worry about. This was 1/2 teaspoon of "paint flakes" in my
oil, clogging who knows what ports, etc., and I am not supposed to worry.
Has anyone heard of this with the 4.7 engine and should I take their advice
and let it go?
