Just had to tell everyone. Here at our university
we recieve and broadcast a German network called
Deutsche Welle. FOLKS! Americans are not alone in this!
The German people have shown great sympathy and
support for America and the American people (you
would not believe it!) They have cancelled all sports
events, they are praying for us and our NYC brothers
and sisters. Many are in tears over the situation.
German Firemen are saluting the falling NYC Firemen
and rescue workers killed in the WTC. Thousands are
signing a book of condolences at the US embassy along
with many flowers and wreaths. Its a wonderful thing
to see, from a people so far away! Truly the only difference
between our people are a language and location. AND no
the culture is very similar in many ways.
BTW, have you heard the Speech Tony Blair made
from England? AWESOME!!!
"We stand shoulder to shoulder with America"
a speech as eloquent as the likes of W.Churchill!
OK, I'm pumped, wheres the enemy?!!!!!!!!!!!!!
