Thanks to Jon S. & Ed (U.Sers), Jason (transplanted U.Ser) & Norah
& Nathan (stranded visitor from Col.), and Jim (computerless DMLer)
for making the trip to Sat.'s get-together. I had a super time and enjoyed
everyone's company.

Jim Knox in his '91 4x4 318 beauty won the Street - ET class (15 sec and up)
(trophy & money) at the Can. Mopar Nats Part II held at the Cayuga track.

I fumbled my way to the 3rd round (final 8) in the Super Street - ET class
(12.50 - 14.99) before redlighting. In 66F., 40% humidity, 29.6" baro. and
10 mph headwind, I did get a pb of 14.70 (five t&t runs with three 14.8s and
two 14.7s). By removing the hard lid and tailgate and moving the battery to
the rear, I was able to bring the weight down from 4,275lb to an estimated
4,125 lb. Removing that much weight from the rear did not affect my
launch as the 60' times remained in the low 2.1s.

Still hoping to get into the 14.6s before close of this track season.

Take care everyone.
