Eric -

This has come up recently, and if I remember correctly, it's not a
requirement on trucks and Dodge must have chosen not to do it.

I do know that it works the same way on my '01 QC 4x4 4.7 Sport+ (tried it
after the post a while back).

I decided to consider it an undocumented feature.

Hey guys, I'm new to this list. I just found it a few days ago and I've got
a question for you guy with new(ish) DAK's.. I've not a '01 QC 4x4 w/ the
4.7 and on my truck I do not have to depress the brake pedal in order to
shift out of gear. Now, from my experiance working in the automotive
industry I know this is a big no-no on the factories part. I'm curious to
know if I am the pnly one with this problem or if it a widespread issue. It

doesn't bother me that much, so I'll just have them fix it sometime when I'm

at the dealer for something else...

Anyway, look forward to all future inputs from the list...
