Not brakes, rather throttle... the "fly by wire" design. (SUCKS, IMO)
As evident in the LT4 vette I put a hotcam in... if I floor it and dump the
clutch, the gas pedal will push my foot back... and there's no holding that
peddle down =)
But as you stated, turn off the traction control and she'll do one helluva
burnout!!!!! (I put 4 tires on it weds., made sure the old tires were
sufficiently burnt out) ;-)

but get caught at about 150-200 yds . ( it has a traction control system
that applies the brake to combat wheelspin If you turn traction control
off, it does great burnouts)
