I have a 2000 Dakota with 21,000 kms and the check engine light came on
today. I did diconnecting the battery, it did go out. Then it reappeared
again. I got the code from the odometer and it was a P 0340, which is " No
camshaft signal detected during engine cranking"
Is it possible that I can fix this myself? Has anyone had the same code
before? I really don't want to go to the dealership. First off I loose a
days work, and second I have mods done like a homebrewed intake. You never
know what they will say.
Can someone please help me!!!
Thank in advance
Anthony
