You can always call and ask for a thermostat for a '73 VW Bettle. If they
tell you they can't find it, then tell them they are a pityful excuse for a
parts store. They actually had a "thermostat" in the bugs. It opened the
cold air flap once the engine compartment air reached a certain temp. Also,
ask for upper and lower radiator hoses for a 69 Bettle. Another good one,
kinda old, but still good:
Call and tell them you want a (insert part name here) for a 1989 Henway
When they ask, "What's a Henway?"
Reply, "About 2 pounds."
