I had a 90 Dak with the 2.5. I believe it was actually a Mitsu engine.
Don't know where all they're using the new "Magnum" 2.5 but when it was
redesigned I know they did work pretty hard to get as much torque and HP
out of it as they could. I think one of the things that was done was to
increase its stroke. Hmmmm so does that make it a stroker I4?

That's right.. a neighbor had a GenIII CC with a 2.5L.. I'm so used to
thinking in a Gen II frame of mind. I prefer the older 2.5 to the new
ones
though. I think (think that is) that the 2.5 in them now may be the
Jeep
motor as opposed to the one I have based on the old Omni motors.
