How on earth do you manage to drive the truck without moving the shift
lever? :-o
To ensure the air bags don't go "BANG", remove battery negative cable
Engage parking brake
Insert key into ignition
Turn key clockwise to :RUN" not "START" (unlocks shift lever)
Move shift lever to "L"
Remove dash cover; in Mopar speak "cluster bezel"
I've had my cover off a half dozen times for addition of CD changer, wiring
and switch additions and modifications, etc.
