This same thing happened in my 96 Chev 1/2 ton with limited slip. it was the
rear axle fluid needed to be changed and the dealer dumped in two bottles of
the friction modifier,along with fresh 80-90 wt gear oil, and WALA the
problem was gone. Mopar updated the amount for our rear axles with sure
grip, posi, limited slip, to Two bottles of the friction modifier.
