It is Synthetic. I use it myself.

Hmmm... I replaced the fluid in my NV3500 5 speed in my 97 Dak a couple
of weeks ago with Redline MTL and I could have sworn that on the bottles
it said " All Synthetic Formula" . No problems so far.
