Ok Everyone,
First off, I'd like to thank everyone for their replies to my questions on
the clutch replacement. I really appreciate them. As for all those that
said Dakota prayers for my transmission, thank you too. Here's what's
happening.

The dealership is going to replace the transmission (3rd one). It's
currently on order. As for the clutch, I ordered a Centerforce-II, and I'm
not going to be installing it. The dealer is going to install it for me
with the new transmission. Cost to me from the dealership, $50 due to the
extended warranty. The clutch disc, pressure plate, and TO bearing cost me
$335 plus about another $15 for shipping. I don't think this is too bad a
deal.

Regarding the flywheel, I'm not comfortable with what the mechanic at the
dealership told me. When ask about resurfacing the flywheel, they told me
they don't resurface them. They just clean them up, and if necessary, they
wil run over them with a die grinder. Say what??? A die grinder??? Unless
they are talking about something different than what I invision as a die
grinder, I don't understand how you could keep the surface true. Any ideas?

Think I'll look into what a new flywheel would cost me real quick. I
believe it would be better to spend a bit more now, than be sorry later.
Let me know if you have any further thoughts. Again, thank you for all the
replys.
