I agree with you too Ray. Perhaps I should have been a bit more "wordy" in
my reply. (I was trying to be brief.) I don't equate the impact of brake
and clutch work as being equal. Quite a bit of labor difference between the
two.

Redoing a brake job only takes 20 mins and is cheap. I don't take chances
when it comes to dropping a transmission, and the cost of the
parts. Everyone has their own way of doing things though. If not turning
the flywheel works for you, more power to ya!
