sorry, I didn't read it all (pre-7am syndrome) it realy depends on what's
inside the manifold when you open it up. I've not worked on a v6 manny yet,
although I've seen several v8's from '99... some have a divider, some
didn't. If the plenum divider is there, and it still has the EGR tube cast
into it (many non-EGR trucks still have this tube inside the manifold.. BIG
hinderence to flow), have the plenum removed just enough to remove the tube
(you'll see what i'm talking about when you open the manifold up)

As far as the runners, with stock cam, etc be VERY careful if you remove any
material from them. Make sure to keep their length as uniform as possible,
and definitely don't take out more than ~2". With stock cam and heads,
personally I'd remove the EGR tube and 1"-1.5" at most from the runners.

You shouldn't need new injectors, however DEFINITELY do the throttle body.
Another thing to consider is an aluminum bellypan, there is some fab work
being done to have these available for sale soon. (I'm pretty sure, would
the responsible party speak up?) =)

just wanted to make sure that all is suggested when doing V6 mod...I have
seen what Bernd has done but also wanted to make sure it would work for my
normally aspirated...

also, what do you think about the rest...TB...injectors...

BTW Thanks Jon!
