Hi all...new to the list, been monitoring for a few weeks.
Just made my 3rd payment on an '01 RC/2WD with a 3.9.
Had it in to the dealer where I bought it (and also work) to see
if they could find the cause of an almost imperceptable (but annoying)
hesitation upon normal acceleration. Doesn't do it if I stomp on it or
if I "ease" the gas pedal down but under normal driving conditions, from
a dead stop the hesitation is there. If it had a carb I'd say it was a
bad accelerator pump but alas... The techs in the shop have noticed it but
can't find anything wrong. They said to check back for flash updates
(which I did...nothing yet). Does anyone else with a 3.9 notice this or
is it just my rig? Sure would like to figure this out.
