It sounded weird when I wrote it.

What I meant was, you hold the button down, and turn the key. The odo will flash
something, then the needles will move in sync to 3 spots in their travel. Something
like 30 MPH, 60MPH, 90 MPH on the speedometer (might be horizontal, vertical,
horizontal). So, you put a needle on the tach, and do the procedure. On the second
pause, you stick the speedo needle on at 60. Now your speedo is set right. Then pull
the tach needle, and repeat the procedure. All six gauges do this.
