Hi Wayne,
Yepper's!!! I've got a new NV3500 coming compliments of Dodge. This will
be the third (hopefully last) one! The first one was replaced at ~26Kmi.,
and now the second one at ~55Kmi. Cost is going to be a whopping $50. You
can't imagine how thankful I am for the extended warranty. They are going
to install the new Centerforce clutch and TO bearing for me too. I may also
ask them to replace the pilot bearing to while its apart. The cost of the
bearing isn't worth all the labor of taking it apart later if needed.

I don't know what the problem was with the first one. I know the second one
has bad synchros, and a bad rear bearing/seal. Beyond that, I don't know.
It is being replaced at Fair Oaks Dodge in Fairfax, VA. Whenever I've
needed anything I couldn't take care of myself (or a warranty item), they
have taken superb care of my Dakota. You'll not hear one complaint about
this dealership from me, and I am picky.

He-he-he! I shouldn't laugh. Chris Lambert will tell you otherwise. He's
had just the opposite happen to him down there with his '00.
Rich

Hey, I guess I missed something here, but did you get a new NV3500? If so
can you tell me where, how much and why? Sorry if you already posted this,
I
must have missed it.

Thanks,
Wayne

Hey Bob,
As dry as its been around here lately, we shouldn't have to worry about

Got my fingers crossed! Bob
