Hiya there!
I've had the same problem w/ my Dakota since it was new! I notice its worse
when the vehicle is under a load, like going up a long hill. That rotten
egg smell just has to go! The dealer here claims its the winter fuel
(somehow I dont' believe that, it does it during the summer too!) One time I
pulled over when the smell got too intense to ignore, and looked at my
exhaust manifolds (this was at night) they were glowing red! Of course I
tried to replicate this w/ the dealer, and it didn't do it. Ugh, its so
embarassing that I won't take my Dakota when I have a date! I may have
posted about this in the past, but if anyone has ideas as to what could
cause this, I'd greatly appreciate it!
