Subject: DML: Brake master cylinder failing?

I just noticed this today while sitting at a light. If I push on my
brake pedal and then letoff a little bit and press down again and keep
doing this I can get my brake pedal to the floor. I am guessing that
this is not good. After noticing this I applied "some significant"
pressure to my brakes and my pedal will become soft feeling. If I let it
come back up every thing is fine again. Under a constant medium pressure
the pedal does not become soft.. Am I correct in assuming that my brake
master cylinder is failing? I have checked my brake fluid and it is
full. (and no I havent messed with the brakes since I bought it.)
