Well, I am now the owner of Shelby Dakota #899. Only code
she spit out was a 34, which I think is some kind of vacuum
selenoid. The 'Maintenance Required' light is on, but
according to the book, this is just a reminder light for
routine maintenance.Anyone know how to reset it?
She needs a full set of decals, as most of these trucks do
at one point of another, and one dent on the passenger's
side A-Pillar (tree branch?).Other than that, I think she
needs a U-Joint and some light brake work. The guy had just
had the brakes done, but there is a shimmy in the front when
you brake, so I am guessing warped or incorrectly turned
rotors.
Very neat little truck and a great transmission. When you
hold it to the floor, she'll haze the tires up thru about
30MPH, then she'll bark as she grabs a hard 2nd gear.
