01 CC 4.7 just got her last friday.I checked dipstick 'cause of these posts,
same issue.

I have a 2000 QC 4.7 auto with the same complaint. The dealer checked others
of the same type in the lot and they are the same way. This is after they
ordered a new dipstick and it fit the same way. Another dealer "I don't know
what to do or say". Good luck.
