Look at the screws that hold the instrument cluster in
place. Normally,if it`s been taken out,the screws will
have screwdriver burr marks where you can tell it`s
been messed with. I see this with electronic stuff all
the time. That`s not to say that they definitely
messed with the odometer if they had the cluster
out,but it could help you determine if it HAS been out
for some reason. Philips screws always seem to burr a
little bit even if you use the exact right size/number
of screwdriver.
