William,

Bolt on all of the modifications first before having a custom flash
done. See how the truck runs and then decide. 6 - 7 degrees is too
much and there's no way of telling exactly when to start adding the
timing as all the engines run slightly different.

Well, I'm going to take the truck by Mike Leech Company to see Tom Fox
on Tuesday. I got a 4.7L Auto. What should I have him do as far as the
flash? As far as timing, what's the highest I should be able to go? I'm
running a dual exhaust right now, and a quick-d intake, once I get my
F&B TB, I'm going to build a custom 4" alunimum intake for the truck.
Any thoughts? Would 6/7 degrees advance be too much on the timing? I
don't want to fry my engine or kill my mileage. (With the exception of
the lead foot!)

Let me know
Thanks
william
