Following is that message from Don Mallett!
2 weeks I posted a message about the steering making a
moaning noise. The
dealer replace the rack and pinion part and the noise is no
long there! I
believe the rack and pinion was putting a undue strain on
the pump and
motor. The mileage is up about 1.5 to 2 mpg per gallon. Just
filled the tank
tonight and got 16.0 MPG for around town driving. To top
that I just paid
$0.969 here in Fort Worth!!!
