Considering that I had a bad experience with the RS5000's, there's
really no comparison (the ride is MUCH better though). As compared to
the ProComp ES9000's, the ride quality is smoother and more "firm" in
the corners (doesn't sway on bumps while cornering hard).
I abused them pretty hard last night to find out how good they really
are...there's a 45MPH "S-Turn" up the road from my house and I took it
at about 78-80mph (there's a few small dips in the lanes as well). They
held up to the abuse, put the truck where I pointed it (with the
steering wheel), and didn't jump on the dips in the road. There's
definitely some sort of road-adjusting valving inside these shocks.
Shocks I've run in the past:
Edelbrock IAS (original release), Rancho RS5000's, ProComp ES9000's, KYB
Gas-A-Just, Toxic Shocks (ES4000's), and now these. Out of all of them,
these are by far superior.

How do these compare to the Ranch 5000 & 9000 shocks?
