I personally don't like the IAS shocks either. The comparison was with
their valving system...not the shock. (Yeah, the the IAS shocks are too
mushy on aggressive manuevers.)

I just swapped out IAS's in the back for bilsteins. The difference is
huge. I already had the bils in the front but the IAS's had no control
over the rear. The rear end pitched up/down so much it made the front
tires touch the fenders on big/hi speed dips. By controlling the rear's
pitching, the front does'nt rub any more. The IAS's were smooth on
smooth roads and really bouncy on bumpy roads. The Bilsteins are about
the same on smooth roads, but don't bounce half as much in the rough
