It's not that they don't work well for their application, but
yeah...they may be more suited for the heavier vehicles (Full-Size
Trucks, SUV's - Jeep, Durango, etc.). They were a little bit mushy for
my taste (had a set on my '97 for a week after they were initially
released in early '98.

Boy, you Dakota guys are really down on the IAS shocks. I've had mine
on for
a year and I've been very happy with them. Yeah, they're probably not
much
for an off-road shock. On the pavement though, they made a big
difference
for me. Maybe they're a better match for the Ram chassis than for the
Dak.
