Like I said, there's NO WAY you could pay me to trade a '99 Dakota with a
318 for an '02 w/ the 4.7L! I don't have much against the 4.7L's- heck I've
got one, but that's just because I couldn't get a '99 ordered in time. I
much prefer the 5.2L engine, but that's just me. I wanted a '99 Deep
Amethyst reg cab 2wd 112" wb SLT 318/NV-3500/9.25" 3.92 SG with the same
options I got on my current truck, but didn't get it ordered in time. I had
to settle for a '00 in Forest Green pearl(they discontinued Deep Amethyst)
with a 4.7L(they dropped the 5.2L/318). It's a descent truck, I just think I
would've been MUCH happier with the '99. I like their seats better than
mine. And, I really don't like the new interior the '01+ trucks have. TTYL,
