I have to disagree with the Viper pricing. Comparable performance vehicle
are going twice the amount and the car is reasonable price below what should
be a 130,000 plus vehicle.

Now, there are models that will be release in the next coming three years
that will help to fill the gap on the low to medium range performance
vehicles.

As with the Prowler, it was not designed to be a performance vehicle at all
but a cruiser retro hot rod. I was at Jack Powell and brought in my in
aluminum can (Swift GTI) and asked the owner if he wanted to race his
Prowler against my little coke can. He looked over at the car and
laughed....told me that it was a cruiser not a racer. I did concur and
laugh knowing the performance specs was not up to the Viper level of true
sports car.

EXCELLENT and they should and get rid of the Viper as well, then they can
build a competitive performance car that EVERYONE can afford. The problem
(and it's been a long time problem) with Chrysler is they don't(won't) build
a sports car that will compete with the Mustang/Lightning, Camaro/Firebird
in the same price range. Most of us are left high and dry drooling over the
Viper but unable to afford one. If you want a fast Dodge you either spend
$80,000 or you have to build it yourself.
