Yes way!!! That is an approximate weight.. when it hit the tailgate.. the
nose was WAY up there.. just hit the brakes to bring it back.. Once the
weight was at the cab we were nosed down though. We had 30 amps at roughly
60# each, stacked & shrink wrapped on a pallet.
So for yours to have bent so easily.. sounds like it was a defective
spot to me.. It should have held with no problems.. But I agree with the
rest.. Better off having things like that boxed in a fixed location.
