Pull the airhat, crack the throttle body blades, look down into the bottom
of the intake with a flashlight.
If there's oil, belly pan gasket.

If not, look for leaks at the valve covers or else where on the motor. You
said you did some work to the intake, has the truck been running well since?
(Trying to rule out an intake leak at the head.

Have you pulled the plugs? See if any one/two are grungy as compared to the
rest.

What grade oil are you using? If you're up north, I wouldn't use anything
thicker than the green cap.
