I have an XM tuner in my R/T. I already had a Pioneer head unit which let
me plug the XM tuner into its cd changer jack and use its controls. The XM
tuner and antenna cost me 229.00 shipped from a dealer on Ebay. It was
new, not refurbished, in the box. It has cd quality sound, no static ever
unless you are under a canopy or other metal structure that blocks its view
of the sky. It will play inside my garage or under trees though. It cost
9.95 a month for service and many of the channels are commercial free and
there are 100 channels categorized by genere such as 40s,50s,50s etc,
country, pop, classical, comedy, news and more. I have had mine about 2
months and really enjoy it. Of course it picks up the same stations no
matter what state you are driving in. They have a web site with samples
of programming you can play on your computer.
